Our family has been eating mostly WFPB for many many years. It has really made a difference in our lives, but we are taking it to a new level. After even more study and listening to Dr. Gregor, we’ve cut out all oil, refined foods (even labeled vegan), flour, and sugar.
Basically, this is what we don’t eat:
- Meat (beef, pork, chicken & fish)
- Diary (including milk, yogurt, cheese and eggs)
- Flour (including white & whole wheat, corn flours, nut flours, coconut flour, etc.)
- Refined sugars
- Oil (including vegetable oil, olive oil, etc.)
What do we eat?
- Vegetables and fruit
- Nuts and seeds (not refined into butters)
- Whole grains (oats, barley, brown rice, whole wheat… all whole, not refined)
