We have arrived safely in China. Everyone is here, including Eric. There were major difficulties during the journey, but everything has been resolved for now and we are so happy to be reunited!
We are still missing one bag… the one with my brand spanking new Ktec blender in it. I’m not really worried about the blender, it is the clothing and medications that are in the same bag that I stress about. Hopefully the airline representative is correct and the bag was only routed incorrectly. They claim it will be delivered to the hotel sometime during the day today.
Everyone went straight to bed as soon as we arrived and most slept for a good 6 hours. Hopefully the jet lag will be easy coming this direction.
My VPN is not working correctly and so I am unable to post to F*acebook. We’ll get it figured out, I’m sure, but right now we have bigger fish to fry… like figuring out the visa situation (we entered the country on tourist visas, but need student visas) and also finding a place to live. The hotel is nice enough, but $80 USD/night is not easy on our budget. We are headed out first thing this morning to meet with a realtor and to see some apartments. We are praying that we find something that suits our needs quickly!

Yep I just saw the link come up on FB. Glad you’ve all arrived safely although sounds like you’ve had some dramas? We leave for Perth on Sunday, so our little trip is nearly over. Hope the apartment goes very well straight away. xx
