For the past two weeks my girls have been happily and busily involved in a local program called “playmakers.”   They have learned an enormous amount about performing and were able show us what they had learned today.  We were impressed at the amount of work they accomplished in just two hours each day.  The following is a list of the performances my girls participated in.

Oh Thinks You Can Think! (song) From Seussical the Musical

O for a Muse of Fire, (prologue) Henry V

“I’ll beat down the door,”  scene from The Comedy of Errors

  • Xuxu played Dromio of Ephesus
  • Star played Dromio of Syracuse

St Crispian’s Day (monologue) from Henry V

Henry V: In Motion (Acting out the plot to Henry V with music!)

Both girls did an amazing job and are begging to sign up for the next session!

(above) The kids from Playmakers learning from the actor who plays Dromio in The Comedy of Errors.  Can you say, “starstruck?”

(Star in brown and Xuxu with the cape!)

I was impressed that he came to see their production and took the time to

meet and great each and every one of them after the show!
