Part of our celebrations this week included helping our oldest daughter celebrate her birthday with a gift of heritage. We gave her a Norwegian costume called a Bunad and some music performed by a famous Norwegian musician. She is wearing her new dress to church in just a few moments and is over the moon with excitement to share her heritage with her friends and teachers!

Are you going to live in Norway as well? I know some LDS people who live there. He went on his mission there, came home, and met her (Norwegian native) at BYU. They settled there and have a sweet little family.
Ginger,
I have a friend that is from Norway as well and she met her husband at Ricks. They live here though. We are definitely planning a trip to Norway someday, but I doubt that we could afford to live there! Its very expensive!~~ Anne
What a great idea- Did you do a Norwegian Meal? Rent the apartment in Norway – We’ll go!
